Salary: Based on Experience

Key responsibilities:

Turns valves to release fuel gas and oxygen
Guides electrodes, or torch and filler rod, at specified speed
May tack weld specific spots
Fabricate and maintain JIGS for products
Proficient in the use of oxygen torch kit
Assist the lead welder
Responsible for maintaining quality in all aspects of projects

 

Physical requirements:

Ability to work rotating shifts on continuous seven day work cycle
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat without restrictions.

 

Equipment used:

Welding plant, air ad electric hand tools, basic hand tools

 

Skills required:

TIG Aluminum Welding

Ability to read and understand written and verbal communication
Able to pass a weld test
Able to read and understand protractors, calipers, and tape measures

 

Days/Hours Mon-Fri with some overtime and possible weekends

 

Pay: $20.00-23.00 DOE
