Our client is located in Monroe, NC. They are currently seeking a full time chemical operator working 1st shift. Succeeding in this position would mean that the candidate be able to oversee the equipment operations, produce bulk chemical batches, improving quality, efficiency and safety. 

 

What you will be doing: 

• Operate machine that produces the chemical batches 
• Perform basic troubleshooting if there is an issue with the machine 
• Follow instructions for a controlled "recipe" to build batches
• Continuously review raw material levels 
• QC output to lessen kick out rates
• Use a forklift to move finished production 

Qualifications: 

• Basic Math Skills (ratios, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) 
• 2 yrs of manufacturing experience
• Must be able to lift and carry 15-25 pounds and frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand continuously
