We’re partnering with a well-established construction firm specializing in federal government and DoD projects to hire a Construction Quality Control Specialist.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead all Quality Control (QC) activities on federal/DoD construction projects
  • Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP) in compliance with project specifications and government standards
  • Conduct daily inspections, preparatory meetings, and follow-up phases to ensure work meets contract requirements
  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and government representatives
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, federal, and company quality and safety standards
  • Identify quality issues proactively and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including reports, logs, and as-built records

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of construction experience, ideally with Project Management exposure
  • 2+ years in a Quality Control role within construction
  • Experience supporting federal, government, or DoD construction projects strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of plans, specs, submittals, and construction documentation
  • Experience with quality control processes, inspections, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, and project management software
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, or Sage is a plus
  • Ability to pass government clearance requirements
