Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the animal feed industry, is seeking a Dairy Nutritionist/Technical Specialist to support its growing operations. This role combines technical expertise, client engagement, and business support, working closely with dairy producers to optimize herd performance and feed programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nutrition professional who enjoys working directly with clients while contributing to product development and overall business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and optimize dairy feed formulations using software such as CPM Dairy or similar
• Conduct on-farm ration analysis and performance audits
• Support sales initiatives by contributing to technical proposals and customer solutions
• Work directly with dairy producers to improve herd performance and productivity
• Assist with new product development and provide input on marketing materials
• Train and support internal sales and service teams on nutrition programs
• Monitor ingredient quality and contribute to quality control processes
• Participate in industry events and stay current on dairy and nutrition trends
• Support planning initiatives including sales strategy and operational improvements

What You Bring:

• Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition (required)
• Minimum 5 years of related experience, including at least 3 years of on-farm dairy experience
• Proficiency with feed formulation software (e.g., CPM Dairy, Brill, or similar)
• Strong understanding of dairy production, herd performance, and nutrition programs
• Ability to work directly with clients and support technical sales efforts
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently

Additional Requirements:

• Veterinary Drug Dispenser Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed
