Job Title: Press Brake Operator Supervisor (Night Shift)

Schedule: Night Shift (Hours may vary based on production needs)
Pay: Competitive; based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Press Brake Operator Supervisor to lead our night shift manufacturing team. This role is responsible for overseeing press brake operations, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and supervising operators to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support press brake operators during night shift operations
  • Set up, program, and operate press brake machines as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met
  • Monitor product quality and enforce quality control standards
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members
  • Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
  • Enforce safety policies and ensure OSHA compliance
  • Coordinate with day shift leadership for smooth shift transitions
  • Maintain accurate production and performance records

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of press brake operation experience required
  • 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
  • Experience with CNC press brake programming preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and manual dexterity

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/industrial setting
  • Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
