Job Title: Shop Worker – Truck Rental Facility

Location: Brookshire, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract / Evaluation to Hire (as applicable through Express Employment)

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Worker for a truck rental facility in Brookshire, TX. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop environment while assisting with general labor tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general shop cleanup, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris
• Move and organize tires, car parts, and shop materials
• Operate a floor buffer machine and other basic cleaning equipment
• Assist technicians with general labor duties as assigned
• Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with safety standards
• Perform other duties as needed to support shop operations

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy items
• Comfortable working in a shop or industrial environment
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (training provided if needed)
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Previous shop, warehouse, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor shop setting
• Exposure to shop equipment, vehicle parts, dust, and noise
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
