Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant supports the Development Team, which oversees fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnerships. This role provides administrative, operational, and communication support to ensure smooth execution of development activities and donor relations.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, calm under pressure, comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life, and able to navigate a wide range of personalities with professionalism and compassion. This position requires someone who can work effectively in a Christian, faith-based environment and represent the organization with warmth, integrity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Donor Support

Provide day-to-day administrative support.

Manage calendars, schedule donor meetings, coordinate tours, and support development activities.

Maintain accurate donor records through data entry, updates, and organized filing systems.

Assist with donor communications, including thank-you letters, emails, and follow-up outreach.

Track donor activity and help ensure timely, consistent engagement.
Technology, Social Media & Communication

Support social media posting, basic content management, and digital communication tasks.

Use Microsoft Office Suite, shared drives, and databases (Bloomerang experience a plus).

Assist with preparing reports, spreadsheets, and simple tracking logs.
Event & Project Support

Assist with preparation for donor events, tours, and small development projects.

Assemble materials such as packets, name tags, donor info, and promotional items.

Support meeting logistics, including room setup, agendas, and note-taking.
General Office Support

Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and inquiries.

Maintain office organization, supplies, and basic operational needs.

Process incoming and outgoing mail, including donor correspondence.
Volunteering:
- Lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Cultivate an engaged, empowered volunteer community.
- Manage all volunteer operations and logistics.
- Partner with staff and community stakeholders to integrate volunteers across all site locations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

3–5+ years of administrative support experience required; experience supporting executives preferred.

Experience in nonprofit, ministry, or human services environments is helpful but not required.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Valid driver’s license and acceptable background check required.
