Professional Recruiter Job Summary

 

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a results-driven Professional Recruiter to join our team. This role is responsible for executing full-cycle recruiting strategies to identify, attract, and place top-tier talent within professional-level roles. The Recruiter serves as a strategic partner to clients while also acting as an advocate and guide for candidates navigating career transitions.

Professional Recruiter Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement of professional candidates
  • Develop and maintain a proactive talent pipeline using a variety of sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, networking, and digital recruiting tools
  • Partner with clients to conduct detailed intake sessions, define hiring requirements, and deliver tailored talent solutions
  • Apply consultative sales methodologies to expand existing client relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct outbound business development activities including networking, lead generation, and client follow-up
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, career goals, and cultural alignment to ensure thoughtful, high-quality placements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to candidates, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain consistent, compassionate communication with candidates and clients to ensure a positive experience for all parties
  • Track and manage recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, and client interactions within applicant tracking and CRM systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal team members to meet activity goals and drive office performance
  • Stay current on labor market trends, industry developments, and competitive intelligence to inform recruiting strategies

  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Pay: Competitive salary, with commission

Professional Recruiter Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required; agency/staffing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or technical roles preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruiting and/or sales performance metrics
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess client needs and deliver strategic workforce solutions
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and advanced sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, AI-enabled sourcing tools, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability, with the ability to give and receive feedback effectively
  • Demonstrated compassion and commitment to supporting individuals through career transitions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
