Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to support piling and foundation projects by fabricating, fitting, and welding structural steel components. This role requires experience working with heavy steel materials, reading blueprints, and performing high-quality welds in shop and field environments. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in construction or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding on steel piling, pipes, plates, and structural components
• Fabricate and assemble piling materials according to drawings, specifications, and work orders
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications
• Cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding
• Inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components to quality standards
• Operate welding equipment, torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely
• Assist with field welding and repairs at job sites as needed
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and job-site safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, fitters, and field crews to meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder in a construction, piling, or structural steel environment
• Proficiency with MIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Core welding processes
• Experience welding carbon steel and heavy-gauge materials
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
