Mechanical Fabrication Technician

 

Pay: $19.25/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Location: Reading, PA

 

Responsibilities:

• Review job orders and engineered drawings to ensure accuracy
• Verify quantities and materials before beginning production
• Pull and inspect components to meet quality standards
• Cut fiberglass materials to specified lengths
• Perform hollow milling and cross-drilling on fiberglass tubing
• Assemble components including inserts, eye bolts, and handle grips
• Set up and operate steel handle press equipment based on part specifications
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of assembly experience
• Fabrication experience is preferred
• 2+ years of reading engineered drawings or blueprints
• Strong attention to detail 
• Basic math skills required
