Assembly / Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Located in Donna, TX

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Assembly / Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support daily operations at our auction facility. This position is responsible for assembling equipment and furniture, maintaining the facility, and ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and fully operational. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to handle a variety of maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment (tables, chairs, displays, etc.)
• Perform general facility maintenance including minor repairs, painting, and upkeep
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including indoor and outdoor areas
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues
• Handle trash removal, yard upkeep, and general property maintenance
• Set up and break down areas for auctions and events
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Cutting the yard / cleaning up outside

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance, assembly, or general labor preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Schedule & Pay:

• Schedule: [8am-5pm  Monday – Friday, occasional weekends for auction events]
• Pay: [$12 - $15.00 “Based on experience”]
