Pay Frequency: Weekly – Every Friday

 

Position Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing equipment, production operations, and facility maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with automated production equipment, and the ability to fabricate or modify machine components when needed.

 

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Experience with automated production machinery and labeling equipment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mechanical Skills

  • Ability to operate drill presses, lathes, and milling machines
  • Ability to fabricate, modify, and repair machine parts and components
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Experience with preventative maintenance procedures

Electrical & Controls Skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot 24 VDC control systems
  • Experience troubleshooting:
    • Sensors
    • Fiber optic sensors
    • Solenoids
    • Stepper motors
    • Servo motors
  • Ability to troubleshoot AC voltage systems safely and effectively
  • Understanding of industrial electrical systems and machine controls

Equipment Experience

  • Experience working with wrap-around label machines preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and repair automated production equipment
  • Familiarity with motors, drives, conveyors, and production line systems

Work Schedule

  • Standard Shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs
  • Saturday work required when needed (often)

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must follow all company safety procedures and policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with servo-driven automation systems
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments
  • Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment preferred
