Heat Treat Operator

Located in Berlin, CT

Salary: $20-24/hr

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Heat Treat Operator to join our team in Berlin, CT.

This role is responsible for operating and monitoring heat treating equipment to ensure metal components meet precise hardness and durability specifications.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality and safety.

Location: Berlin, CT

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 7 am to 7 pm

Pay rate: $20-24/hr, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate heat treating furnaces and related equipment
• Load and unload materials into furnaces according to specifications
• Monitor temperature controls, cycle times, and cooling processes
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and production standards
• Maintain accurate production and process records
• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in heat treating, manufacturing, or a similar role preferred
• Basic understanding of metallurgy or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
