Maintenance/Machine Operator

Located in Glastonbury, CT

Salary: $19-25/hr

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance/Machine Operator to join our team in Glastonbury, CT.

This position combines hands-on machine operation with routine maintenance responsibilities to ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment.

Location: Glastonbury, CT

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm

Pay rate: $19-25/hr, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper performance and output
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on equipment
• Identify mechanical issues and report or resolve them in a timely manner
• Follow production schedules and maintain quality standards
• Complete basic record-keeping and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machine operation and/or maintenance preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read basic technical instructions or manuals
• Comfortable working with tools and industrial equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
