Job Description:
A kids meal delivery service is seeking Ready-to-Eat (RTE) Production Associates to assist in the preparation and packaging of pre-cooked meals. This role supports the production line by ensuring meals are accurately portioned, properly packaged, and prepared for shipment while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

 

Location: 65th & Harlem 

Pay: $15.50 an hour, immediate start.

Schedule: Monday–Saturday availability, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Must be available to work Saturdays. Off on Sundays and one additional day during the week.

Must pass background check.

WILL BE WORKING IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT 30 DEGREES 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Package pre-cooked meals according to company standards and portion guidelines
• Scoop or weigh food into containers or meal trays
• Place lids on containers and apply labels to finished packages
• Inspect meals and packaging for quality and accuracy
• Palletize finished products and prepare them for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following food safety and sanitation standards
• Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Work is performed in a cold food production environment; employees must dress appropriately for cold temperatures
• No long nails, eyelash extensions, or jewelry are permitted due to food safety requirements
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time
• Ability to follow instructions and portion guidelines accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Ability to lift and move boxes as needed
