Our client in Iowa City, IA is looking for several Quality Assurance Technicians!

Position Summary: Our client is seeking dependable and detail-oriented associates for a 4-week temporary Quality Assurance project starting Monday, May 11th. This position will be performed onsite at a large plastic packaging manufacturing facility in Iowa City, supporting quality checks for plastic bottles, caps, and injection-molded packaging products used in the food, beverage, beauty care, and home care industries. Examples of products produced at this facility include bottles for body wash, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion, and gum packaging components. This is a hands-on quality role focused on inspecting finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of plastic bottles, caps, and packaging components
• Check products for defects such as cracks, dents, scratches, labeling issues, or incorrect dimensions
• Verify packaging meets quality and safety standards
• Document inspection results accurately and report any issues to supervisors
• Assist with sorting, separating, and handling non-conforming products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all plant safety and quality procedures while working onsite

Qualifications:

• Previous quality assurance, inspection, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 8am – 4:30pm
• 4-Week Temporary Assignment
• Starting Monday, May 11^th

Pay:

• $17/hour
