Maintenance Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at a well-established winery and farm. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our facilities, equipment, and grounds in excellent working condition. You will work across a variety of maintenance disciplines — from general repairs to equipment upkeep — ensuring that our operation runs smoothly season after season.
Requirements:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on farm and winery equipment, including irrigation systems, pumps, tractors, and processing machinery.
- Conduct general facility repairs such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks to maintain safe and functional work areas.
- Inspect buildings, fences, and grounds regularly; identify issues and coordinate or complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and storage spaces; track inventory of supplies and report shortages.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, agriculture, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; ability to operate farm equipment and hand/power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- English and/or Spanish communication skills required.
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: Full Time – Monday – Friday | Day Shift
- Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 D.O.E
