Facilities Maintenance Worker (2-Week Assignment)

Our client, a long-term care facility, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker for a short-term, 2-week assignment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience, particularly in mechanical or boiler room environments.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)
Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work including carpentry, painting, HVAC, light electrical, and plumbing
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing equipment and building systems
• Complete assigned repair projects in a timely manner
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Assist with outdoor groundskeeping and upkeep

Qualifications:

• Broad experience in building maintenance trades (carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Mechanical or boiler room experience preferred
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
