Job Title: Catering Event Staff Needed ASAP (Flexible / As-Needed Work)

Job Post Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is looking to build a pool of reliable event staff ready to work ASAP.

We are supporting a VERY busy catering client with 50+ events this month and need people who can jump in and help as shifts become available.

This is NOT full-time — this is flexible, as-needed work. If you're available, great. If not, no problem. Perfect for picking up extra hours.

Pay:
$20.00 – $25.00/hour (based on role & experience)

What You’ll Be Doing (varies by role):

• Set up event spaces (tables, linens, décor, utensils)
• Serve food and beverages while providing great guest service
• Assist with food prep, plating, and presentation
• Heat and finish dishes on-site at events
• Buss tables, clear dishes, and keep areas clean
• Set up bar stations and serve drinks (bartenders)
• Deliver food/equipment and assist with setup (drivers – DOT required)
• Work as a team to keep events running smoothly

Requirements:

• MUST have catering, banquet, or event experience
• Strong sense of urgency (fast-paced environment)
• Knowledge of food handling & safety standards
• Strong customer service / guest-facing skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and stay active
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Flexible schedule (events include nights & weekends)
