Duties

• Operate asphalt pavers and related heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to facilitate paving operations.

• Coordinate with crew members to ensure continuous flow of materials like concrete mixers and concrete pumps.
• Monitor paving quality throughout the process, making adjustments for smoothness, thickness, and compaction.
• Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and finishing tasks as needed on construction sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Support other construction activities including concrete finishing and site cleanup to maintain project timelines.
• Operate commercial vehicles responsibly for transporting materials and equipment between sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks.
• Knowledge of paving techniques, concrete mixing, pumping, forming, and finishing processes.
• Mechanical knowledge related to maintaining and troubleshooting heavy machinery.
• Prior construction site experience with an understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
