Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Parts Administrator on behalf of our client, a well-established boat dealership in Burnside.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and customer service in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for receiving inventory, processing invoices, assisting customers, and supporting technicians with parts sourcing and supply.

This is a full-time opportunity with an immediate start available.

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Receive incoming inventory and verify parts for accuracy
• Enter received inventory into the system and maintain accurate records
• Organize and put away parts inventory to keep the department efficient and easy to navigate
• Process invoices accurately for received inventory
•  Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email with parts inquiries and purchases
• Read and interpret parts diagrams to identify and source correct parts
•  Source, order, and supply parts for customers and technicians
• Conduct regular cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Process warranty claims and assist with warranty-related inventory inspections
•  Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department
• Support front counter operations and provide excellent customer service

 

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in parts, inventory, shipping/receiving, or a related role is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to helping customers find solutions
• Experience reading parts diagrams or a strong mechanical aptitude is considered an asset
•  Strong attention to detail and accuracy with inventory and invoicing
•  Comfortable using computers and learning inventory management systems
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to lift medium-weight parts and work in a physical environment
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with noise and exposure to weather conditions near bay doors
