Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing safe and reliable vehicle repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections)
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and exhaust systems
• Inspect vehicles for safety, performance, and compliance with regulations
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
• Communicate clearly with service advisors or customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC)
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
