Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting Warehouse Associate for a company located in Costa Mesa.

 

Warehouse Associate are generally responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material; for stocking and maintaining the warehouse; and for picking, documenting, and packing customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure. Their attention to detail ensures the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Service Line: Evaluation to hire, Fulltime

Pay: $20-$22/Hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibility:

Receiving:

·         Receive vendor shipments or customer returns by obtaining packing slips, counting materials, and verifying accuracy. Record all discrepancies (over/under shipments, mis-shipments, damage, or shortages) on the packing slip and freight documents.

·         Receive materials in the system via PO Receiver, RF device, or ASN process, ensuring ASN quantities are not altered and handling discrepancies according to procedures.

·         Identify and properly store nonstock, special-order, and damaged items. Initiate or forward freight claim documentation for shipping issues.

Picking & Shipping:

·         Pick, verify, assemble, and package customer orders using pick tickets or RF devices, ensuring accuracy before shipment.

·         Forward documentation for Will Call or shipping manifests and complete paperwork for third-party carrier shipments.

·         Load/unload trucks and safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.

General Responsibilities:

·         Report inventory issues, discrepancies, or damaged goods to supervisors.

•     Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, organization, and security standards.

•     Assist coworkers, follow all safety regulations, complete required training, and perform other assigned duties.

•     Note all shipping discrepancies on freight carrier’s Bill of Lading; initiate freight claims with freight carriers or forward appropriate paperwork to designate employee

Requirements:

·         1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience

·         Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred

·         Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

·         Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and materialhandling environment.
