Welder Trainee

Salary: $20.00-$22.00

Pay starts $18.00/hr+ DOE.

 

Responsibilities of the Welder Trainee:

• MIG welding 
• Prepare materials and work surfaces for welding
• Operate basic shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded parts
• Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and verbal instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Participate in training sessions and skill development activities

Requirements of the Welder Trainee: 

• MIG welding experience
• Previous shop or mechanical experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Lift up to 50 lbs 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
