Slitter Operator 1st shift 6:00am–2:30pm

Located in Kalamazoo, MI

Shifts: 1st: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

• Pay: $23-$26/hr
• Job Duties
• Enter cut data into tooling program, generate set-up instructions for arbors and over/under separator arms.
• Perform setups, including setting up knives and over/under arms.
• Perform QC checks on incoming full coils and slit coils.
• Examine tooling for signs of wear.
• Help train/develop others on the slitting line
• Drive FL/crane as needed (Horizon will train)
• Requirements
• HS Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years, operating metal slitting machines, preferably 72" wide or similar.
• Ability to operate a forklift, crane or desire to learn.
• Great attitude, desire to learn, growth mindset.
