Slitter Operator 1st: 6:00 am – 2:30

Located in Kalamazoo, MI

Shift: 1st: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

• Pay: $23-$26/hr
• Job Duties
• Operate steel slitting line.
• Lead 3 person team (Slitter Operator, Slitter Setup, General Labor).
• Adjust controls, speeds etc, make sure operation is running smoothly.
• Perform QC checks on incoming full coils and slit coils.
• Help train/develop others on the slitting line
• Drive FL/crane as needed (Horizon will train)
• Requirements
• HS Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years, operating metal slitting machines, preferably 72" wide or similar.
• Ability to operate a forklift, crane or desire to learn.
• Great attitude, desire to learn, growth mindset.
