Finishing and Grinding Technician

Salary: $19/Hour

We are seeking a hands-on Finishing & Grinding Technician to support production by preparing and finishing metal components to meet quality and performance standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are properly assembled, finished, and ready for final processes such as powder coating.

Key Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, and finish metal components to meet specifications
• Perform sub-assembly of fabricated parts as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and finish products
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure all products meet quality standards
• Make adjustments to bring parts within tolerance
• Prepare materials for powder coating
• Report quality issues, part shortages, or production concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with fabrication and production teams to meet daily goals

Qualifications

• Experience in metal finishing, grinding, or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic welding or blueprint reading experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
