Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and properly store inbound raw materials, including steel coils
Receive, unload, and put away steel beams and steel tubing
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
Organize and manage inventory to maximize space and accessibility
Inspect inbound materials to ensure quality standards are met
Monitor shop supply levels and notify purchasing when replenishment is needed
Perform shipping and receiving duties as required
Conduct scheduled quarterly, semi-annual, and annual physical inventories
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations
Use RF scanners and warehouse systems for tracking inventory
Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or department manager
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse, receiving, or forklift experience
Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
Experience using pallet jacks and RF scanners
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
