Direct Hire 8C Press Operator

Located in Hanover, PA

Salary: $22/hr-$27/hr DOE

Hours: 5pm-5am Swing Shift. 3 days on week 1, and then 4 days on week 2.

Dress code: Pants or jeans, appropriate t-shirt, no jewelry, nothing offensive, no holes/rips/tears, and closed-toe shoes.

About the Role
Operate and maintain offset press equipment, ensuring every job runs efficiently, safely, and to customer specifications.  

What You’ll Do
• Set up, operate, and maintain press equipment to meet production and quality targets.
• Review job jackets to understand all customer requirements and communicate them clearly to your crew.
• Lead press helpers during production and downtime, ensuring smooth workflow and quality output
• Monitor quality throughout each run—verifying color, registration, and stock specifications, and adjusting as needed.
• Identify and correct visual defects to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on press equipment.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical or quality issues
• Commitment to teamwork, communication, and safety

Physical Requirements
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
