Maintenance Technician

Located in Como, TX

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician position for a local Como, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on processing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
• Maintain and service refrigeration systems (Freon experience is a plus)
• Assist the maintenance team with general repairs and upkeep in a meat processing environment

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Foundational mechanical or electrical knowledge
• Interest in growing skills in industrial maintenance
• Electrical and refrigeration (Freon) knowledge is highly valued
• EPA certification for Freon handling is a plus (not required)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in cold, wet, or refrigerated environments
• Ability to work around machinery, noise, and industrial conditions
