NOW HIRING: SHIPPING SPECIALIST

We’re hiring a Shipping Specialist ready to jump in and make an immediate impact. This fast-paced role focuses on coordinating shipments and keeping materials moving efficiently between suppliers, shops, and job sites from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily truck transport by verifying weights and dimensions, obtaining quotes, selecting carriers, and issuing shipping orders
• Visit fabrication shops and yard areas to oversee rigging, lifting, loading, and securement of equipment
• Track shipments and communicate status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain master shipping lists summarizing load details for customer coordination
• Request and review freight cost estimates to support sales and project bidding
• Manage international shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders and documentation preparation
• Photograph and document inbound/outbound shipments for compliance and records
• File and follow up on freight damage claims
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, transport crews, and customer representatives

Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, shipping, or transportation coordination preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping processes is a plus
• Willingness to work in both office and outdoor/shop environments

Work Environment:
This position involves a mix of office work and on-site coordination in fabrication shops and outdoor yards.
