Position Overview

The Counter Sales role supports the growth of the foodservice product line by providing customers with sales assistance, technical guidance, product information, and logistical support. This position blends traditional counter sales duties with inside sales functions, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide product information, pricing details, and technical support to customers

• Assist with inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels

• Support inside sales efforts by preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up with customers

• Maintain strong knowledge of foodservice equipment and related product lines

• Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with clients

• Analyze data and customer needs to support sales growth

• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (equivalent experience may be considered)

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Effective written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data

• Experience with HVAC or foodservice equipment—such as ice machines, beverage systems, refrigeration, or filtration—is preferred
