Low Voltage Technician

Salary: Starting at $15.00/hour DOE

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including security systems, cameras, and other related technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work effectively in various environments.

Duties

*       Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems such as security alarms, cameras, and access control systems.

*       Conduct field service calls to diagnose and resolve issues with existing installations.

*       Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks.

*       Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.

*       Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for infrastructure sales.

*       Document all service calls, installations, and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes.

*       Build strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support.

*       Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.

Experience

*       Proven experience in field service within the low voltage or electrical industry is preferred.

*       Familiarity with camera systems and access control is a plus.

*       Knowledge of security system installation and maintenance is essential.

*       Experience working with fire alarm systems is highly desirable.

*       Proficiency in using remote access software for system monitoring and troubleshooting is beneficial.

*       Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools effectively.

*       Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
