Structural Welder / Pipe Fitter 

 New Iberia, LA | $25–$28/Hr. | Full-Time

 

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder / Pipe Fitter with a strong emphasis on pipe fitting and blueprint reading. This role involves working on industrial projects requiring precision, safety, and quality workmanship.

 

Duties:

• Fit, align, and install structural steel and piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints (strongly preferred)
• Perform welding using SMAW, MIG, and TIG processes
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipe and structural components accurately
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Assist with fabrication and installation on industrial job sites
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

 

Requirements:

• Strong pipe fitting experience required (primary focus of role)
• Blueprint reading experience is a major plus
• Ability to pass welding tests required
• Industrial welding/fabrication experience preferred
• Must have own welding hood, leather gloves, basic hand tools, and grinder
• Steel-toe boots required
• Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments

 

Schedule:

• Full-time
• 5 days per week
• 10-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Pay:

• $25–$28 per hour
