Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00/HR
Duties:
Provide daily low-voltage service, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for customer projects.
Install, terminate, label, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling, including fusion splicing and certification testing.
Perform installation and support for audio/visual systems, access control, CCTV, and video surveillance solutions.
Execute structured cabling tasks for communications cabling, data centers, wireless/Wi-Fi systems, paging/intercom systems, cellular amplification, and CATV distribution.
Read and interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Ensure all work meets industry standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements.
Plan, organize, and coordinate team efforts to ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, contractors, project managers, and the general public.
Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, test results, and installation records.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with low-voltage cabling, including copper and fiber installation, termination, and testing.
Hands-on experience with A/V systems, access control, CCTV, and related technologies.
Working knowledge of data center environments, wireless/Wi-Fi systems, paging/intercom systems, cellular amplification, and CATV distribution.
Ability to work at heights and operate lifts; must meet physical requirements including lifting, climbing, standing, and overhead work.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan work, manage resources, and support team coordination.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
BICSI certifications preferred but not required.
Additional certifications in low-voltage systems, fiber optics, or manufacturer-specific platforms are a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background checks or security requirements as needed for customer sites.
