Low Voltage Electrician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Low Voltage Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs low voltage systems such as data, communications, and security systems. This role also supports facility needs through light carpentry and operation of tools and equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and maintain low voltage systems (data, fiber, security, access control, communications)
• Run and terminate cabling, including testing and troubleshooting systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform basic carpentry work to support installations (mounting, framing, etc.)
• Operate lifts, hand tools, and light equipment safely
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety standards
• Assist other trades as needed

 

Commercial Electrician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Commercial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial facilities. This role supports construction and maintenance activities and may include carpentry tasks and operation of equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Troubleshoot wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Perform basic carpentry work related to installations and repairs
• Operate equipment such as lifts, trucks, and power tools
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Collaborate with other trades and team members

 

Industrial Electrician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Industrial Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in industrial environments, including machinery and heavy equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and may include carpentry work and operation of heavy equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment

• Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed for facility maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairsTroubleshoot motors, control systems, PLCs, and electrical components

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

For all three positions 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Industrial electrician experience required
• Experience with motors, controls, and PLCs preferred
• Basic carpentry and equipment operation experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license

WORKING CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Work around heavy machinery and moving equipment
• Exposure to high noise levels, heat, dust, and industrial environments
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work in extream weather conditionsl for long periods of time
• Availability for overtime and emergency call-outs
