Position Summary

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County are looking for a Warehouse Associate that is responsible for assembling, packing, verifying, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role supports daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping documentation, and material handling, while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. All duties are performed without any driving responsibilities.

 

Shift: Mon–Thur 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM 
Pay Rate: Up to $18.50/hr
Work Boots Required

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill customer and intercompany orders for shipment.
• Load and unload common carriers and company vehicles (non-driving role).
• Assemble customer orders for shipment via UPS and LTL carriers.
• Process shipping paperwork, including:
• Verifying correct merchandise
• Applying proper shipping labels and tape
• Completing Bills of Lading (BOL) for LTL shipments
• Following customer-specific shipping instructions
• Insuring shipments when required
• Gather completed orders from carts and verify item descriptions and quantities.
• Count and record total quantities on invoices.
• Pack orders into appropriate containers and stage them on shelves by truck route.
• Verify shipped items and quantities against invoices.
• Use scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for:
• Order picking
• General material put-away after receipt
• Substitute for other warehouse personnel when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.

 

Requirements

• General knowledge of electrical products.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with co-workers and support customer requirements.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple job tasks efficiently.
