Quality Assurance Technician | Mon - Fri | 1st and 2nd Shift | $25.00-30.00/hr

 

A food manufacturing company is seeking hands-on Quality Assurance Technicians with experience in volume baked goods or confectionary processing. Position is focused on food product quality and manufacturing consistency. This role works directly on the production floor evaluating product attributes such as texture, appearance, weight control, structure, and packaging performance. 

 

Job Requirements for Quality Assurance Technician

• Previous food grade manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Familiarity with basic measurement tools(scales, calipers)
• Able to complete mandatory food safety and general safety training
• Background in food science, culinary, or related field

 

Job Responsibilities for Quality Assurance Technician

• Inspect incoming ingredients for quality, consistency and usability in production
• Observe batching and confirm correct ingredient usage and lot traceability
• Perform routine checks during production runs
• Record quality observations
• Support Shelf-life studies and long-term performance tracking
