Salary: $29.00/HR

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am

Pay: $29.00/HR

Duties:

• Comply with all company and site safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe‑work practices

• Perform safe and effective operation of welding equipment, tools, and machinery

• Weld components using MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), and TIG (GTAW) processes, including complex aluminum assemblies

• Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols to execute accurate welds

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems (Panasonic and Genesis Robotics)

• Assist with robotic welder setup, programming adjustments, and quality checks

• Flex across different products and work areas to support production needs

• Provide training and guidance to new employees or team members learning new work areas

• Follow established procedures, standard work, and quality requirements

• Troubleshoot and resolve welding‑related issues, including weld defects, equipment problems, and material inconsistencies

• Maintain welding equipment, perform basic repairs, and ensure tools remain in proper working condition

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and maintenance teams

Qualifications: 

• Intermediate‑level proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding

• Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding, especially on aluminum

• Strong understanding of aluminum alloys, weld characteristics, and process reactions

• Experience operating and maintaining robotic welding systems (Panasonic, Genesis Robotics preferred)

• Ability to perform both manual welding and robotic welding operations as needed

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering documentation

• Strong troubleshooting skills for weld quality, equipment issues, and process deviations

• Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to support multiple production areas

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required (typically up to 50 lbs)
