Salary: up to $35.00/HR

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm OR Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00am

Pay: up to $35.00 /HR

Duties:

  • Perform daily, routine, and preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues from start to finish

  • Install, modify, and maintain production machinery, including custom‑built equipment

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow

  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment concerns and improve machine performance

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and parts usage

  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment is operated and maintained safely

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades

Qualifications: 

  • 3–5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently

  • Experience working with PLC systems, specifically Allen‑Bradley

  • Hands-on experience with extruders, rewinders, and other converting or plastics-processing equipment

  • Ability to repair and maintain custom-built machinery

  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly

  • Commitment to working safely and following established safety protocols

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed

  • Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts when required for repairs or emergencies
