Express Employment Professionals client in Madison Heights is in need of a Finished Carpenter. In this role the candidate will be finishing work started by CNC Operators by assembling, laminating, paint and text on custom interior designs. 

 

Skills Required: 

• Strong finish carpentry skills with experience in detailed, high-quality woodwork and installation.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, tape measures, and written/verbal instructions
• Hands-on experience building custom wood furniture with a focus on precision and craftsmanship
• Skilled in laminating techniques and working with a variety of wood materials and finishes
• Experience operating woodworking machinery including table saws and routers safely and effectively
• Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to use and maintain hand and power tools
• Familiarity with millwright work, including equipment setup and alignment when needed
• Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately to meet tight tolerances
• Capable of lifting heavy materials and performing physically demanding tasks on a consistent basis

 

 

 

Shift: 

1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Overtime available during the week and Saturday based on production needs)

 

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 1:00 am (Overtime available during the week and Saturday based on production needs)

 

Pay:  $18-20/hr. (Based on experience and interview results)
