CDL-B Driver – Kenilworth, NJ

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Day shift), Overtime Available

About the Opportunity

A growing construction materials supply company in Kenilworth, NJ is seeking an experienced CDL-B Driver to join their team. This role involves delivering construction and landscape materials to commercial and residential job sites using flatbeds, dump trucks, or boom trucks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable interacting with customers.

Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL-B commercial vehicles for scheduled deliveries and pickups
Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods
Verify delivery documentation, orders, manifests, and quantities
Inspect and maintain vehicle condition (pre-trip and post-trip inspections)
Comply with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and roadway laws
Provide professional and courteous customer service at job sites
Assist in yard operations as needed (material handling / staging loads)
Communicate delivery status with dispatch team throughout the shift

Requirements

Valid CDL-B License in good standing
1+ years of commercial driving experience
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
Clean MVR and ability to pass background check & drug screen
Experience with flatbed, dump, or boom truck preferred
Forklift or Moffett experience is a plus (training available)
Knowledge of local NJ routes and job-site delivery safety
