Job Title: Forklift Operator / Material Handler (GDP)
Shift: 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM (First 30 Days)
After 30 days: Transition to 9-hour shifts and required Saturday work

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support production operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are delivered efficiently to the production line and finished goods are properly handled and stored. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable managing multiple requests throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport parts and materials to the production line using a forklift
• Remove completed units from the line and store finished products appropriately
• Manage and store tubs, units, and incoming materials
• Use hand scanners to maintain accurate inventory and track materials
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain a clean work environment
• Assist with unloading and storing incoming parts as needed
• Respond to multiple material requests from various departments
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous forklift or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate a forklift for extended periods (the majority of the shift)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and communication skills
