Salary: $140,000-$160,000
An Edmonton client is seeking an HR Manager – Operations & Recruitment to join their team.
HR Manager – Operations & Recruitment Highlights:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across corporate, operational, project-based, and seasonal hiring needs
- Manage recruiter workflow, priorities, and stakeholder communication to ensure hiring demands are met efficiently
- Support workforce planning with operations leaders, anticipating hiring needs and project transitions
- Track and improve recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, onboarding pace, and fill rates
- Oversee HR operations including onboarding, employee documentation, reporting, and workflow processes
- Ensure effective use of HR systems (e.g., Dayforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams)
- Provide day-to-day HR support to leaders on employee-related matters and process inquiries
- Lead and coach a small recruitment team, driving accountability and performance
- Build strong relationships with operations leaders and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare and deliver regular reporting on recruitment activity, attrition, and workforce metrics
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- Progressive experience in recruitment leadership, HR operations, or generalist HR roles
- Proven success managing high-volume, project, or seasonal recruitment
- Experience leading or mentoring a team and improving operational processes
- Strong knowledge of HR systems; experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand, operational environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Hours & Wage:
- Full-time position
- $140,000 – $160,000 annually
