Salary: $140,000-$160,000

An Edmonton client is seeking an HR Manager – Operations & Recruitment to join their team.

HR Manager – Operations & Recruitment Highlights:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment across corporate, operational, project-based, and seasonal hiring needs
• Manage recruiter workflow, priorities, and stakeholder communication to ensure hiring demands are met efficiently
• Support workforce planning with operations leaders, anticipating hiring needs and project transitions
• Track and improve recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, onboarding pace, and fill rates
• Oversee HR operations including onboarding, employee documentation, reporting, and workflow processes
• Ensure effective use of HR systems (e.g., Dayforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams)
• Provide day-to-day HR support to leaders on employee-related matters and process inquiries
• Lead and coach a small recruitment team, driving accountability and performance
• Build strong relationships with operations leaders and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare and deliver regular reporting on recruitment activity, attrition, and workforce metrics

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• Progressive experience in recruitment leadership, HR operations, or generalist HR roles
• Proven success managing high-volume, project, or seasonal recruitment
• Experience leading or mentoring a team and improving operational processes
• Strong knowledge of HR systems; experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand, operational environment
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Hours & Wage:

• Full-time position
• $140,000 – $160,000 annually
• Benefits package included (health coverage, vacation, personal days, and more)
• Start Date: ASAP

• Reports to: Vice President, Human Resources
• Supports a large, field-based workforce with high-volume hiring needs
• Work environment includes a project-based, operational setting
