Aluminum MIG Welder

$24-$26 per hour

Monday- Friday 

7am-4:30pm

 

 

A manufacturing leader in Santa Fe Springs is looking for an Aluminum Welder with 5 years experience. You will be working in the Research and Development department, providing custom fabrication. Position will be a temp position working at one of the largest single-brand manufacturer for liftgates.

 

Aluminum MIG Welder Requirements:

• 5 years experience with ands on MIG welding and specifically aluminum welding.
• Blueprint/technical drawing comprehension. 
• Understands technical drawings and schematic with AWS D1.1 specifications.
• Able to setup, fabricate, and assemble prototype parts in accordance to engineering drawings, sketches, or verbally instructions
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)

Aluminum MIG Welder Responsibilities

• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Must have experience with torch cutter 
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Proficient in reading and writing in English 
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hydraulic, liftgate, and truck mechanic knowledge is a plus
