Salary: $62,000-$72,000/annually

An Edmonton client is seeking a Logistics / Dispatcher (Machine Parts) to join their team.

Logistics / Dispatcher Highlights:

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics for machine parts across multiple shop locations
• Direct truck movements and assign shipments to appropriate destinations (shop, delivery, staging)
• Act as primary dispatcher for local Alberta shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
• Communicate with company drivers, carriers, and internal shop teams to manage shipment flow
• Coordinate material transfers between multiple shop locations
• Monitor high-volume movement of materials (approximately 10,000 parts weekly)
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging shipments when required
• Maintain accurate shipment records and updates within ERP systems (Epicor)
• Support shipping documentation, tracking, and logistics inquiries (phone and email)
• Provide real-time updates to Shop Supervisor and operations leadership
• Work within a team of 10+ logistics and operations staff in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics, dispatching, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong computer skills; ERP experience (Epicor) considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills with drivers, teams, and external carriers
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make quick, practical decisions
• Team-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Comfortable supporting shop floor operations when needed

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• $62,000 – $72,000 annually
• Full-time, permanent position
• Business casual dress code
• Parking provided
• Start Date: ASAP
