An Edmonton client is seeking a Press Operator to join their team.
Press Operator Highlights:
- Operate press machines to manufacture rubber products
- Perform repetitive pressing tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Lift materials up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Work in a hot and noisy shop environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, repetitive role
- Able to speak, read, and write English
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a hot and noisy production environment
Working Conditions:
- PPE required: Steel-toed boots
- Hot, loud, and fast-paced manufacturing environment
Hours & Wage:
- Training: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (up to 4 weeks)
- Post-training shifts:
- 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (8-hour shift), or
- 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (10-hour shift)
- Overtime potential available
- $20.00/hour during training
- $20.50/hour on afternoon shift
