🚛 Class A CDL Driver – Bend, Oregon

💲 Pay: $30–$32 per hour DOE
📅 Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
⏰ Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

📌 Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Bend, Oregon. This role includes professional truck driving as well as supporting other areas of the business when not on the road. Flexibility, communication, and a strong customer‑service mindset are essential.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🚚 Driving & Delivery

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier regulations.
Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule.
📞 Check in with dispatch when:
- Leaving the yard
- Leaving delivery sites
- Delays occur (traffic, construction, getting lost, etc.)
Fill out logbooks and complete post‑trip inspections before leaving for home.

🧹 Equipment Care

Clean out dump boxes prior to another load, as required: “drivers responsibility to clean out their dump boxes prior to another load” .
Perform periodic cleaning of cabs, trailers, and equipment.
Assist with general equipment cleaning and maintenance.

🤝 General Labor & Support

When not driving, employees will be required to work in other areas of the business, including assisting yard, shop, or office personnel.
Support tasks may include sweeping bark pads, cleaning shop floors, office and bathroom cleaning, and general yard upkeep.

✔️ Requirements

Valid Oregon Class A CDL with no more than two moving violations in the last two years.
Current DOT medical card.
Drug‑free and able to pass pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math.
Safety‑minded, organized, attentive to detail, and able to follow directions.
Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code.
Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
