We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Engraver to personalize fine metal products using engraving equipment and computer‑based design tools. This role combines craftsmanship with light technical design work, requiring precision, consistency, and an eye for layout. The Engraver will prepare and position customer‑provided designs in engraving software, produce high‑quality engravings, and ensure all personalized items meet quality and deadline standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Engrave customer‑specified text, designs, and monograms on metal products
• Upload customer artwork or text into engraving or design software
• Adjust layout, sizing, alignment, and centering to meet product and customer specifications
• Prepare and send finalized designs to engraving equipment for production
• Interpret work orders accurately, including fonts, spacing, placement, and special instructions
• Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Handle delicate and finished products with care
• Maintain engraving tools, software files, and equipment; report issues as needed
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining craftsmanship standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience with engraving or similar precision work (metal engraving, laser engraving, machining, jewelry, or fine arts)
• Comfort using computer software for layout, design, or production setup
• Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
• Manual dexterity and steady hand

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engraving, laser, or design software (e.g., layout, CAD, or engraving‑specific programs)
• Ability to work with imported images or text files
• Experience engraving metals such as pewter or silver
• Production or custom‑order engraving experience
• Artistic or design background

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Ability to work with small tools and components
• Adequate vision (with or without correction) for detailed work
