Job Title: Fitter Welder (2nd Shift)

Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Occasional overtime on Fridays

Pay:
$24.00/hour + $3.00 shift differential

Position Summary:
Seeking experienced Fitter Welders to join a dynamic fabrication team. This role involves fitting and welding structural steel components according to specifications, blueprints, and industry standards. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Fit, align, and assemble structural steel components prior to welding
• Perform MIG, FCAW, or other required welding processes
• Ensure weld quality meets specifications and inspection standards
• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, torches, and measuring tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a fitter welder or similar role preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in structural welding techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
